Out of all the Honduran places in the area, this one tops them all. The food is authentic, flavorful and the service was excellent. Maritza is really good server and truly cares about providing a positive experience for the guests. We got the carne molida con yuca, bomb! Definitely recommend. The fresco hondureño is addicting. A must have! and the pollo chuco is always a hit. Last but not least, the bistec encebollado has such good flavor and tenderness, it's no wonder it's on their most popular dishes list. I've been to Honduras Kitchen several times in the past decade or two, but I've noticed they've stepped it up with the quality, flavor and service. The food came out at a good time as well. We appreciated having the appetizer chips and our baleadas come out as an appetizer and not together with the whole meal like some other restaurants do. The lighting was great, artwork and overall ambiance made it an enjoyable experience with the family. I also loved the Christmas music! It got me in the holiday spirit and I appreciate both English and Spanish songs were played throughout the night :)

The food is amazing! Being a Honduran, I always feel at home eating here. The waitress is so sweet and down to earth, this place wouldn't be the same without her. Other than that, the ambiance is welcoming, homey and great place to bring your friends, loved ones or family. 5/5 hands down!

Service was amazing and on point, she gave us great recommendations and was so cool and nice. The food is delicious. I love their chips & salsa, sour cherry drink, the rice and beans in coconut milk .. this was my first Honduran food experience and I can't wait to explore more. The flavors are awesome and I'll definitely be back. Plan to take a little walk and a nap if you go for lunch. It's a filling meal!

This restaurant was super phenomenal to eat at. The service was warm and friendly. Our waitress was super helpful at food recommendations and she's was so nice. Even singing while she served food or cleaned up. The food was heavy portions. We ordered the arroz con pollo and it was more than filling. Delicious warm and tasty. Their appetizer chips with s special Honduras sauce was super tasty. Had to put it down to save enough room for the entrees. Also tried the bistek also very large portions, delicious and satisfying. We would definitely come back again to try other dishes!

That was delicious! A student organization ordered from this place, to cater an event. They had to pick up the foid--and we're so glad they did. Bandaleras, rice and beans and plantains. The plantains needed flavor. The rice and beans were SO good, I had to go back for at least 4 helpings! The bandaleras, a cross between a quesadilla and a Papua. Yum!

This place is easy to miss on 4th st. Until you go inside you realize it's a full on restaurant. One word. Baleadas. When I have a hard day at work there's nothing like picking up a few on the way home to wash the day away. A fresh handmade flour tortilla, mashed refried beans, crema and crumbled cheese. I add avocado and carne asada. Everything here is good. Arroz con pollo, plantains, you name it. There's good cooking going on here and the employees are always pleasant. The store sells authentic Honduran foods, beverages, snacks and cheese. This place is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. There's only street parking but plenty of parking lots nearby to park at and walk over.
